📹 Instagram tests new AI-powered video tools through Meta’s Movie Gen Engine. Users will be able to edit clips directly in-stream, switching backgrounds, outfits, and even creating different versions of themselves for content.
✨ Threads updates content re-shares, so creators receive credit. Users can now share images or videos from other posts, whilst displaying the creator's username in the top left corner. The update also includes a separate re-share count for each piece of media.
🎞️ LinkedIn experiments with larger video display in stream. With video becoming a key focus, LinkedIn is introducing bigger video panels within the main feed. Tapping a clip will take users to its immersive video feed, which has grown 36% in usage growth this year.
📈YouTube reveals top ad campaigns of 2024. Highlighting its best-performing ads, YouTube shared insights based on audience response and engagement metrics. The platform emphasised the strength of using both long and short-form content, proving in-depth ads can resonate with users.
