📹 Short form video continues to perform best across all social media platforms. With Reels accounting for 50% of all time spent on Instagram, YouTube shorts now being viewed over 200 billion times per day, and TikTok turning nearly half of its users into buyers.
🚀 Facebook continues to be the largest social media platform in the world with over 3.07 billion monthly active users, while Instagram comes in a close second achieving 3 billion monthly active users globally in 2025. The fastest growing platforms of 2025 included TikTok, LinkedIn and Instagram.
📕 Pulse advertising predicts a rise in episodic content, where serial storytelling will make a comeback. Series based formats build habits, anticipation and recognisable brand moments, shifting the goal from going viral once to becoming unskippable every time.
