💙 YouTube introduces 'Open Call' to boost brand partnerships for creators. YouTube's new feature within its BrandConnect platform, will enable brands to invite creators to submit custom video pitches based on a creative brief. Brands can then select standout submissions for paid promotions though Partnership Ads.
☕ Pinterest launches first product collaboration with Emma Chamberlin. Pinterest has teamed up with Chamberlin Coffee to promote a limited-edition coffee blend inspired by popular pins. The coffee will be promoted and sold directly within the Pinterest app.
📽️ Facebook announces all videos shared in posts will now be automatically uploaded Reels. Users no longer need to select the 'Reel' option, and any attached video will appear in the Reels feed.
🗓️ Snapchat acquires Saturn, a calendar-based social app for students. The platform helps students manage their schedules and coordinate meetups, as well as share their calendars with friends and join events directly within the app.
