🖼️ Instagram tests 'Storylines' feature. The new collaborative option allows your friends to add related Stories to yours, creating a shared narrative around an event. When posted publicly, these linked stories are visible to each user's followers, expanding reach and encouraging more people to join the chain.
👭 Instagram rolls out new 'Blend' Reels feature. The new sharing option for Reels lets users create a shared feed of recommended Reels with a friend or group. After sending an invite via DM, Blend curates a combined feed based on everyone's interests, and updates over time based on what is continually shared.
🗒️ TikTok introduces 'Footnotes' for community-sourced fact-checking. The feature allows users to leave notes which add context or relevant information to posts, helping viewers better asses the accuracy and meaning behind content.
💬 xAI adds memory to Grok for personalised replies. The updated memory capacity will enable Grok to recall elements of your previous interactions to personalise and tailor responses.
📈 YouTube highlights the rise of virtual influencers in new report. The new update explores how AI-generated creators are gaining traction across YouTube and driving success. Just 300 virtual virtual influencers achieved 15 billion views last year, with standout names like Neuro-Sama, Hatsune Miku, and Code Miko.
