🔦 TikTok launches a Fan Spotlight feature to boost music promotions within the app. The new artist-first feature allows artists to showcase their favourite fan videos, and pin them to the top of their music tab. The artist can choose up to five videos at a time, with the creators receiving notifications. This new feature aims to spark more engagement with music fans as they can gain recognition from the artists that they love and spread the word about any new releases.
🏷️ LinkedIn adds labels for AI generated content. In partnership with Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity (C2PA), LinkedIn can identify AI images using data tagging. Any AI-generated images posted on LinkedIn will now include a small C2PA tag in the top right corner of the in-stream visual, and if you tap on that icon, you will see more information about the image. The tags will automatically be added based on the code data embedded into the image.
✅ X is developing a Grok analysis button for AI fact checks. Sitting in the middle of the bottom function bar in the app, X is now developing a new way to use Grok analysis to fact check any post within the app.
📖 Instagram is currently testing a new ‘lately’ feature for Stories. This feature will add a new automatically generated highlight feed to your profile, which showcases your most recent Stories activity. It essentially extends the life of your Stories beyond 24 hours, whilst also giving profile visitors more context as to the type of content that you post on your Stories feed.
