🌎 Snapchat launches a new program to measure the carbon emissions of digital ads. Working with sustainability platform Scope3, the new program will provide advertisers with various impact measurements such as server load to create and host ads, usage of mobile devices to view them, percentage of overall company emissions etc. The aim is to help advertisers understand the carbon footprint of their Snap ads.
🤳 Instagram is working on a new ‘peek’ feature which allows users to share a quick, unedited and unfiltered snap of themselves or their life with friends. Much like BeReal, you send real time images with no room for editing, and this would be displayed in your friend’s inbox. The recipient would be able to view this image once before it disappears forever.
🙏 TikTok is testing a new collaboration feature for posts. This new option will enable you to tag up to 5 collaborators on a post, which will then link their profiles to your post details. Collaborator posts will appear on the creator and collaborator profiles, though only the creator can edit the post. You can use this feature up to four times a month.
🤖X will soon enable advertises to create ad audiences with AI. X is adding another AI element to its platform, where advertisers can simply describe the audience they wish to reach, and X's AI matching system will provide an ad audience based on that description.
