🎖️ TikTok announces 'Veterans Voices' initiative to support veterans using the app. The company will pledge $1 million to 10 non-profit organisations dedicated to support veterans and their families. With 1 in 3 US veterans using TikTok monthly, the app is also launching a new veterans Creator Spotlight, where creators who actively educate TikTok users on the impacts of service, and challenges that they face, will be a part of TikTok's expanded veteran initiative.
📘 Meta advances VR in education through its new "Meta for Education" beta program. Partnering with universities in the US and the UK, Meta aims to test VR learning experiences, ultimately providing schools and universities with immersive tools that bring practical, hands-on learning into the classroom.
🗣️ X introduces free access to Grok AI Chatbot. With Grok only available for premium subscribers, X is expanding its reach with a limited free version of Grox for all X users.
🖼️ Pinterest sees new record highs in usage and an increase in revenue. Active users on Pinterest increased by 15 million in Q3, an impressive boost compared to its growth momentum across Q2, where it only added 4 million more actives.
