💜 Instagram rolls out three new features: Re-posts, Friend Maps, and a new Friend tab in Reels. With Re-posts, users can share public Reels and feed posts, which will appear in a dedicated tab on their profile. The optional Friend Map, found via the Notes feed, allows users to see friends' real time locations. Finally, the Friends tab in Reels shows public content your friends have interacted with, along with recommendations from Blend.
🏨 TikTok launches new program for easier in-app business promotions. TikTok Go works via an affiliate program that lets creators tag businesses in posts and earn commissions from any direct referrals.
💫 LinkedIn adds 16 new animated graphics to make professional announcements stand out. Users can add the updated graphics to posts about new jobs, projects or milestones to give posts a more eye-catching look.
📚 Instagram tests 'Picks', a new way to highlight interests. Currently in early prototyping, Picks would be accessible to users through an icon at the top of their inbox, to help spark more conversation within the app.
