📲 Instagram has overtaken TikTok as the world’s most downloaded app. Instagram has seen a 20% YoY increase in downloads, whereas TikTok saw an increase of 4% within the same period. However, TikTok’s user base are more active, according to UK-based digital marketing agency, Accuracast – the average user spends a whopping 95 minutes on the platform each day, compared to 62 minutes for the average Instagram user. 💬 Looking to level up your DM Game? Meta has revealed that new DM features will be coming to messenger. These include the ability to edit your messages for up to 15 minutes after sending, pin up to three chats to the top of your DM inbox and switch off read receipts (good news for all the 👻 out there). Additional customisation is also possible – chat themes can now be changed, and stickers can be favourited, bringing them to the top of the sicker tray for ease.
