Forming part of their updated Creator Partnerships Hub, these insights will facilitate creator discovery and expand earning opportunities, maintaining YouTube’s lead over Meta and TikTok in creator monetisation.
⚖️ Meta endorses EU push for app age restrictions. Last week, Meta published a statement supporting the proposal to establish a digital majority age across EU member states, which would likely restrict social media access limit to 15 years old.
🌎 TikTok’s US-only app set for September launch. A new report from The Information references TikTok developing a new US only version of the app in line with the new regulations.
📲 Meta launches enhanced marketing messages in DMs. Brands will be able to send personalised messages to subscribers and measure their impact using advanced tracking metrics. Promotional DMs are limited to once a day.
