💬 Instagram introduces a new replies feature for Broadcast Channels. Creators can now enable replies within their channels, allowing subscribers to share their comments. These replies won’t appear on the main feed but will be visible when subscribers tap on a specific message within the Broadcast Channel thread.
🔎 Threads adds a multi-column layout for desktop users. This new feature allows users to track separate streams by topics, people, and more, alongside their 'Following' and 'For You' feeds.
🏷️ Instagram adds new font and sticker options for Reels and Stories. Users can now choose from a variety of new fonts to enhance the feel of Stories and utilise the new text animation feature. Additionally, stickers can be added to feed posts and carousels to add a creative flair to your content.
✂️ X launches DM editing for IOS users, with the feature becoming available over the weekend. Verified users can now also opt to enable encrypted messaging, although Elon Musk himself admits the feature is 'a bit clunky'.
