š YouTube adds lens search option to Shorts. Powered by Google Lens, the feature allows viewers to search anything they see in a clip, such as objects, people or translatable text directly from the video.
š· Instagram now supports 3:4 images. Photos taken with your phone's native camera can appear in-stream without being stretched, appearing exactly as you shot it.
š X launches new chat experience in Beta. The platform is rebuilding its DM infrastructure with a focus on privacy and making encryption a core feature of the update.
ā¬ļø Instagram expands access to comment filtering for creators with over 100k followers. The additional comment filters for creators will include 'top comments', 'newest first', and 'follower count'.
