🎧 TikTok brings audio messaging and media attachments to DMs. The new update adds minute-long audio messages, as well as image and video sharing for both one-on-one messaging and group chats.
🖼️ Instagram experiments with picture-in-picture viewing for Reels. The feature allows users to watch videos in a floating window after leaving the app.
🥇 YouTube expands its Hype program to support emerging creators. The rollout extends to more regions, letting users promote eligible videos by allocating Hype points. Points can be given to videos less than a week old from creators with under 500k subscribers, with totals added to a leaderboard that highlights rising talent.
🎹 TikTok launches new campaign to highlight music discovery. The 'See Where Music Takes You' campaign features music from viral artist Ravyn Lanae, and demonstrates how the app connects fans through shared interests.
