📱AI bot engagement launching on Meta – By creating an AI version of themselves, this new feature will allow influencers and creators alike to interact with their audience on a more practical level. Providing generic answers to the numerous queries creators receive via their DMS, the bot will mimic the style of the influencer in its AI generated response. However, the value of this development could be questioned – will the feature enhance or harm the authenticity of the influencer's relationship with their fans?
📊The introduction of AI to Google analytics aims to provide users with a simplified record of customer data. Through these AI generated insights, key data events and any fluctuations will not only be identified but also explained. Looking to the future, this new update will coincide with Google's integration of post-cookie measurements into their analytics to provide even more insight for users.
🛍️TikTok’s in-app shopping feature will be promoted through new 'Deals For You Days' in the platform’s newest attempt to drive sales on the shopping section of their app. Big brands will share discounts on a range of trending products over targeted days in a bid to increase shopping behaviour on the app and transform sporadic purchases to a more consistent stream of user activity. If successful, this innovation could potentially mean a continuation of the app in the United States.
👨💻Through the rollout of 'Genie', TikTok also aims to enable immediate customer-service responses for their users. This will involve the interaction between the user and an AI-powered chatbot which will connect users to the different features and functions the app has to offer. It can be seen as the first foray into AI for the platform as TikTok looks to enhance user experience across the app.
