📽️ LinkedIn is testing a dedicated Video Feed in-app, which displays content in a TikTok-style, full-screen format, leaning into the broader vertical video trend. This means that short-form video is becoming a new focus for the channel, but will there be enough entertaining business-related content to fill a short-form video feed every day?
💬 Instagram is testing the option for users to comment on specific frames within a carousel. This can be done via a frame tagging option – enabling more engagement and interaction within the main IG feed.
👉 And finally, “Poking” is back! Facebook said that it had seen a 13x spike in Pokes over the last month, with more than 50 percent of the new ‘Pokers’ being aged 18 to 29. So, while the feature might be slightly nostalgic for older users, there’s evidence that older generations are getting involved.
