📱 A new feature could be headed to Instagram feed: Spins. It will let users adapt an Instagram Reel template made by a creator and swap out the text or audio from the original Reel. This will allow users to capitalise on trending content shared by brands and creators – the original creator will still be given a credit. The Spins feature is still in development stages, so be sure to keep an eye out for updates.
🎞️ Looking to create TikTok content that stops thumbs? The platform has rolled out ‘Creator Search Insights’ to help brands and creators level up content strategies. This new analytics tool provides insight into what people are searching for on TikTok, allowing users to tailor creative strategies to better resonate with their audiences.
📍 Google Maps will now show the social media profiles of your favourite bars and restaurants. With brands increasing their focus on social media marketing to reach customers, the new feature gives businesses the chance to start a ‘digital billboard’ of social content on their Business Profile. 🧩 LinkedIn is experimenting with in-app puzzle games. The platform is working on a new gaming element which enables users to take part in puzzle games and have their scores added to their company’s performance for competitive corporate rankings. A spokesperson for the platform added that the games will “unlock a bit of fun, deepen relationships, and hopefully spark the opportunity for conversations.”
