🔒 Instagram launches official use of lockable Reels. Creators will now be able to hide their content behind a lock code, with a prompt for users to 'enter secret code' to view the content.
💬 TikTok introduces new DM option for livestreams enabling creators to generate more direct leads. Livestreamers can now activate direct messages during broadcasts through the new 'live setup for client acquisition' menu.
🖼️ Meta details latest advancement in VR asset generation with 'AssetGen'. The updated model enables users to create complex 3D objects from text and image prompts.
✅ Threads tests new features, including spoiler tags and interest indicators. To boost engagement, Threads is experimenting with blacked-out spoiler text, letting users hide specific words. It’s also testing “Interested in this post” prompts to better tailor content recommendations.
