New appointment: Creative Director, Greg Mitchell

Press Release

Greg Mitchell brings over 20 years of experience spanning London’s advertising, digital and PR agency landscape. He joins us after freelancing for the agency following three years as a Creative Director at Hill+Knowlton Strategies where he worked across all client sectors and helped win a raft of new business.

At Hill+Knowlton, Greg led campaigns for Adidas’ global brand channels featuring golfer Sergio Garcia, marathon athletes Mary Keitany and Gladys Cherono, NBA basketball player Kyle Lowry and World Cup skier Mikaela Shiffrin. Meanwhile his work overseeing Huawei’s global PR and social account helped the brand overtake Apple in 2019 to become the world’s second biggest smartphone vendor.

Greg started his career at RKCR/Y&R working on brands including Virgin, The Times, Land Rover and Budweiser. On leaving RKCR/Y&R, he spent a decade in digital agencies, with permanent and freelance stints at Glue, Iris, Razorfish, R/GA and SapientNitro where he created the multi-award winning mobile app ‘SpeakEmoji’. His work has been recognised at D&AD, Cannes Lions, The One Show, The Webbys, The Lovies, BIMA and more. At Eulogy he will lead the agency’s creative output across all channels.

While creative has been at the heart of the agency since its inception in 1997 and contributed to its stack of awards, this is the first time we have hired a creative at director level, demonstrating the belief of the leadership team in the trajectory of the business. Eulogy is on track to record a 20 per cent year on year growth, having capitalised on a tumultuous post-pandemic market by diversifying its offer and deepening its capability across its social, content and creative teams.

Elisabeth Field, Chief Executive Officer, Eulogy, said: “Greg is our perfect senior fit - high calibre, big brand global experience without ascribing to creative tropes. His ad agency background fits seamlessly into our multi-discipline team, bringing a savvy directness to our creative offer while embracing the Eulogy mantra of diversity in all its forms. He was a Eulogite from the minute we met him and we’re already relishing his impact on our team and clients.”

Greg Mitchell, Creative Director, Eulogy, added: “Eulogy has a team full of talent, an abundance of client opportunities and a very special culture. It’s an exciting time to be joining and I can’t wait to help drive the next phase of the agency’s growth.”

Greg joins as the we welcome back Kathryn Venediger as creative manager and seeks to build further its creative and content team throughout the next quarter.
