Taking Disney gaming to a new platform

Disney approached us to launch its first-ever mobile gaming apps and establish them as a leading player in the family digital entertainment apps market.

We were tasked with amplifying the releases of Cars AppMATes and Where’s my water? mobile games, getting them into the hands of key media and influencers.

We embarked on a media tour with Disney’s head of mobile, securing a series of briefings across national, tech, gaming, lifestyle, parenting and broadcast media. We supported this by conducting and releasing research into the benefits of gaming as a family, positioning Disney, and these two apps specifically, as ideal platform to do so.

We secured blanket coverage across the nationals, gaming and tech trades, lifestyle press, as well as securing an interview on the BBC for Disney’s head of mobile. We reached over 250million people, whilst our journalist engagement saw us achieve ‘best app for kids’ in the Daily Telegraph, ‘must have toys for kids’ in Which? and ‘best app’ in the Sunday Times.
