We created an idea that was simple, visually effective, low-cost and gained notoriously-challenging LOCOG approval: Royal Mail’s 2012 Olympic Gold Postboxes.
We gave Royal Mail a legitimate and worthwhile reason to capture the hearts of the entire nation as well as local regions.
Athletes and consumers shared thousands of photos online, making Royal Mail the third most talked about brand during the Olympics.
Our Gold Medal Stamps work won PR Week’s Best Integrated Campaign and was nominated as the 3rd most powerful campaign of 2012 in the PR Week Power Book. Prime Minister, David Cameron, commented: “Royal Mail had an excellent Olympics Games … I don’t know who is doing the thinking for them but I think they’ve been really on the ball”
