When you wish upon a beer
Blue Moon, the number one craft beer in the US, briefed us to help build awareness and trial in London and Manchester whilst elevating its artfully crafted credentials and educating people on its perfect serve with a slice of orange.
We developed the ‘Once in a Blue Moon wishing tree’, an art installation which we toured in London (Old Spitalfields Market), Manchester (Blue Dot Festival) and Edinburgh (Fringe Festival). The beautiful blue orange tree, sitting alongside our giant ‘orange crate’ bar, offered our target audience a place to visit, something awesome to photograph and, if they shared their wish and hung it from a branch on our tree, a free sample to try.
Our activation delivered a 75% brand recall at Blue Dot Festival; over 32,000 visits to the bar; 9,596 pints of Blue Moon savoured; 1,423 Once in a Blue Moon wishes made and over 10 million opportunities to see.
