Eulogy! Wins Intellectual Property Office Brief in Competitive Pitch
The Intellectual Property Office has appointed Eulogy!, following a competitive pitch, to facilitate all public relations activity surrounding its sponsorship of Wallace and Gromit’s World of Cracking Ideas’ exhibition, which will be held at the National Museum and Science Institute, London, between March and October 2009.
The Intellectual Property Office has sponsored the exhibition in order to promote a better understanding of the intellectual property system, which encourages innovation by allowing designers, authors and inventors to gain value from their creations. In addition, the exhibition and PR campaign will raise awareness of the Intellectual Property Office, who it is, what it does and the role it plays in the innovation and creative process.
Utilising the popularity of Aardman characters Wallace & Gromit, Eulogy! will be directly targeting the general public, school children and SME audience via a media relations education program, under the campaign umbrella of ‘Innovate, Protect, Prosper’.
Lara Leventhal, managing director, Eulogy! comments, “This is a great brief for Eulogy! as it combines our key strengths of integrated B2B, consumer and online PR. Not only will it provide us with a great opportunity to unleash our creative abilities, but also the chance to further the development of such an important area of industry”.
Sally Long, Education and Enterprise Manager, at the Intellectual Property Office added, “Eulogy! is the perfect fit to leverage our sponsorship of the exhibition. We want the public and business community to appreciate the value of intellectual property and realise that it is important. Eulogy!’s creative campaign will directly connect with these audiences.”
