Brown-Forman serves Eulogy! Chambord at Tiffany's
Brown-Forman, one of the world’s largest wine and spirits companies, has appointed Eulogy! to handle its consumer public relations activity for the Chambord brand in the UK, following a four-way competitive pitch. Chambord, a premium black raspberry liqueur, has been part of the Brown Forman stable since July 2006.
Eulogy! will be responsible for building consumer awareness of the Chambord brand amongst fashion conscious young women, with activity focusing on leveraging the brand’s sponsorship of the forthcoming West End production of Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Breakfast at Tiffany’s, a play adapted from the Truman Capote novella, will be the first production in the history of London theatre to be sponsored by a brand, the play premiers at the Haymarket Theatre in the late summer. In addition, Eulogy! will be leveraging Chambord’s existing sponsorship of London Fashion Week and London Fashion Weekend. Intelligent PR will be handling all trade PR for the brand.
Charlotte Ashburner, Chambord brand manager at Brown-Forman, comments: “This is a hugely exciting time for Chambord, with a ‘world’s first’ in the form of the Breakfast at Tiffany’s sponsorship. Through our work with Eulogy! on our premium Italian spirit Tuaca, we have first hand experience of their innovation and creativity. That, combined with their strong understanding of the drinks sector and dynamic approach to PR, will certainly strengthen Chambord’s position in the UK and establish it as the drink of choice for discerning young female consumers.”
Jonny Lockwood Eulogy! associate director adds: “Working on Chambord’s high-profile sponsorship of Breakfast at Tiffany’s and London Fashion Week is a fantastic coup for the agency. It’s a great addition to our consumer portfolio and we can’t wait to put the brand in the spotlight and gain Chambord the applause it deserves”.
Brown-Forman has more than 35 brands in its portfolio, including Jack Daniels, Tuaca, Finlandia and Woodford Reserve. Its brands are sold in 135 countries across the globe.
