Launch of Vedett draught

Vedett is an irreverent Belgian beer  that likes to do things differently. This year saw Vedett take on rivals like Peroni and Staropramen with the launch of a draught variant and it’s first experiential activity.

Objective

While it’s Belgium’s fastest growing beer, in the UK it’s still a fledgling brand. Eulogy! was tasked with raising awareness of Vedett’s new draught lager and position it as the premium lager of choice for independent minded drinkers

Description

Eulogy! was briefed to launch Vedett draught to the drinks trade and communicate its positioning as a challenger brand.  The team used Vedett’s summer sampling activity, which saw a ten ton cement mixer decked out to look like a giant version of a Vedett bottle driven round the country  to place a series of news stories and features on Vedett in key publications.

Results

53 pieces of coverage on- and offline for the draught launch and mixer tour across trade and consumer titles, including Time Out, Last.fm, London Evening standard and The Grocer.
